#NVRNEWS DRAGON BALL SUPER JUST ANNOUNCED!

After 18 long years after being dead on the air, leaving a giant hole in our inner child hearts, and forcing us to enjoy the filler episodes of Naruto ( *womp ) the Dragon Ball series is returning to the air. The next installment titled “Super” is scheduled to be premiered in July. This will be the first be Dragon Ball TV anime in almost 20 years, but only has been announced for a Japanese televised premiere, geared towards July.Gohan_(Revival_of_F)

“Dragon Ball Super”, Famitsu reports the brand new series has been written by the father of Dragon Ball, creator Akira Toriyama, following the massive events occurring after Goku & the Z-Fighters defeated Majin Buu, (so before the series everyone hated, known as “GT” that had aired way back in 1996 and 1997, which was short for “Grand Tour” and featured characters; such as Kid Goku, Pan, and a robot named Giru, I believe Trunks was in there every so often, & Vegeta was possessed by am evil baby, named, well Baby…)

Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki said: “As I read the plot [of the series] I’ve already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freeza may appear…”

That just sounds like we are in for more than 25 episodes of potential grunting, energy blasts, transformations, and more Dragon Ball exploits that make have sculpted the series and its fandom.

For those of you who simply cannot wait any longer, you’re definitely in luck. Earlier this month a new film actively happening post events of the Majin Buu saga, called Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ has been premiered over in Japan, slated with a worldwide release in the near future.
